Thanks Garry, this winter will be an ideal time to put together a beauty dish and diffuser. Even though I live across the pond, I should be able to find materials similar to yours and make my own beauty dish and diffuser. The stand may take a little longer.
I was able to get a hide from a fish and hunting sale. I love it. Just be careful where you set it up. We live on 3 acres with hunters all around. Luckily, our closest neighbor gives us a call when going hunting.
Please post any more DIY, I'm very interested.

Hi Garry, I have just been viewing your blog, and as a fellow amateur photographer, may I say I am very impressed. I have just started my own blog : http://davesphotos-kerryman.blogspot.com/ although not as professional as yours its a start. I am an Englishman now living in Co Kerry, Ireland, it is one of the most beautiful areas with an abundance of photo opportunities I am 67 years young and have this year revived my interest in photography, I started in my early twenties, and have had several different cameras over the years, and am now enjoying living with a DSLR. I have also joined a local camera club that is lucky enough to have a professional photographer that attends, and gives his time freely, so we are lucky. I now have a few lenses, but am looking at the Sigma 10-20mm, I see you already have this. In looking through your blog, i like your hide, could you tell me where you purchased it please? I am also very impressed with your DIY flash systems, they are excellent! and gives me food for thoughts, thank you.
