I first had it mounted on my 20d and i placed it on my 10d and received the same error after 4 or 5 shots. Yes this error (auto focusing and freeze up) only seems to happen when the lens is switched to the "IS" mode. The lens seems to work fine when not in "IS"... So is this a contact problem or a more serious problem with the gyros? Are you still experiencing the same?
