So here is the new baby.

Shots taken in the light tent with 2 studio lights either side triggered with the Pocket Wizzard remote flash triggers. These shots were taken on the 20D with Tamron 90mm macro lens.

I took over the kicthen table for some water droplet experimentation.

The shots were taken with the Tamron 90mm macro on the 5D MkII.

I set up a water traf & put a pint glass full to the brim with water. I enlisted the help of my daughter who dripped the water from a small syringe into the glass. The trick is firing the shutter (on a cable release) at the exact moment when you get the splashes from the impact.

The shots are all taken around f22 1/200sec with wireless flash trigger (Pocket Wizzard).

The annoying thing was that my daughter also took some shots on her 1000D and got better shots than me!

I’ve not yet had a chance to post up some of the early shots with the 5D MkII – I’ve been so busy taking photos I’ve not had a chance to write up the blog entries.

Here’s a selection of the first shots I got with the camera. These literally are the first shots. I took the camera for a walk over our town centre, the shot of the green glass building is numbered 0006.

This is just a small selection of shots as I walked round the town.
